I really liked this book. I can't believe how hard her life was and how successful she became in spite of it. Connor -Stowe
Shocked and angered by the mother. I thought she cared at the beginning but after she hid and ate the candy bars-I was finished with her!
I just read "Stolen Lives" about a woman and her family that were held as prisoners in a desert jail for 20 years. Great story if you like reading about people overcoming adversity.
