This book reminded me of "Holes" for some reason. I guess it is the group of boys trying to overcome something together. Do you think so?

I LOVED this book! It has adventure, comedy, happiness and sadness. It really lets your emotions out. Moon is the perfect charater and his determination lives throughout this story. I encourage everyone to read this.

This book is about a kid named Moon, who's father dies. He lives in a shelter in the woods. This book is filled with adventure as Moon discovers the world beyond the forest. His experience with friends and the law shows perseverance through the whole book. His adventures take him from the forest to jail to a boys orphanage. This book is definatley my top favorite book out of the DCF list
